Main Objectives of Education in Tanzania

(a) Develop and improve his or her selfconfidence 

(b) Understanding and Respect the culture, traditions and customs of Tanzania

(c) High level of thinking, creativity and cooperation by applying science and technology 

(d) Protecting and understanding of moral value or national value.

(e) Life skills to all students

(f) Loving and appreciating  work to increase productivity and high efficiency in production

(g) Identify cross-cutting issues and considering it 

(h) Cooperation, peace and justice in national level and international  according to constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania and international conventions.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has changed the curriculum for secondary education in Tanzania and it is intended to be used in January 2025
